Diane Warman is looking forward to giving us an update on her research into Grevillea shiressii which grows only along Mooney Mooney Creek and Myron Brook in the upper catchment of Mullet Creek.   She returns to CC APS following a contract funded by the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH), Saving our Species (SoS) priority action programme aimed at securing NSW threatened species in the wild for the next 100 years.

Diane has followed her passion for Australian plants and the environment, having completed a Science Research Honours thesis with Dr Anita Chalmers from the University of Newcastle in 2012 on the threatened plant species Grevillea shiressii. She was awarded the Valette Williams Scholarship in Botany which was sponsored by the Australian Plants Society North Shore Group.
